Day 10: I deserve to feel good
Story: Honestly, last week was one of the hardest weeks I’ve had in a while and I started to feel like I used to not long ago where I was sad and angry all the time so I knew this morning I had to interrupt that thought pattern so I can get back to feeling the way I want to.
I rarely do this anymore but after I dropped the kids off at school I stopped by my favorite coffee shop for an overpriced, but delicious, latte.
While I was sitting there enjoying it and watching the rain outside, I thought to myself “I deserve this. I deserve to feel good.”
I wanted to somehow share this feeling so I pulled out my business card and wrote on it “you deserve to feel good” and left it where I was sitting. If you’re following me on Instagram (@ markmayaphoto) then you saw that in my stories.
I don’t expect anyone to hire me from that. I just want to pass that feeling on in someway.
Lesson: Simply remember that what you put out…you get back.
Action Step: Stop right now and do one small thing (I’m talking really small and easy) that will make someone else feel good.
