Getting Ready
Ideal Time Taken – 45-60 minutes
Ideal Time of Day – Early Afternoon
Ideal Location – Hotel Room or Wherever You’re Getting Ready
Pro Tip – Getting ready is when some of the most emotional moments of the day happen so it’s very important for me to have a nice chunk of time to capture those precious times. Think about when you’re out drinking with friends and how much you laugh, play, and sometimes cry. Those are the candid photos that I want to give you during this time.
I like to jump back and forth between the couple during this time to make sure that I get every important moment.
Solo Portraits
IDEAL TIME TAKEN – 15-30 MINUTES
IDEAL TIME OF DAY – Mid AFTERNOON or right after getting dressed
IDEAL LOCATION – HOTEL ROOm, lobby, venue, and surrounding environments
Pro Tip – Directly after getting dressed is the best time for solo portraits. This is a great time to capture you both looking your best before you start crying, sweating and partying. I love using the window light in hotel rooms to capture these beautiful portraits plus this is a great time for you to take a short breather before seeing your partner.
First Look & Couples Portraits
IDEAL TIME TAKEN – 45-60 MINUTES
IDEAL TIME OF DAY – MID AFTERNOON, RIGHT AFTER First Look or the ceremony
