This was one of my favorite wedding shoots ever in Moab, Utah with Caleb and Logan. Their passion was so deep and wild. Every photo of them was a real love story.
Rema, Yousef, and I hiked out to Merritt's Pasture near Chapel Hill, NC for this wedding photography session. I'm really grateful for their sense of adventure while still looking like they did through it all!
Nick and Summer's wedding was such a unique, adventurous day. We started at Sundance Mountain Resort for a beautiful chairlift ride to the top of the mountain where we hiked to the ceremony destination.
After the ceremony, we had a few hours until the reception at Deer Valley Resort so we took advantage of the gorgeous scenery which allowed for some wonderfully meaningful experiences with Nick and Summer.
The reception ended the night with dinner, drinks and dancing while the sun set and the stars came out.
I had so much fun shooting and celebrating Melora and Conor during their downtown Durham wedding!
Please check out all the amazing vendors that were involved:
This wedding was such a great time for me and the couple. We started at the Borden House for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Afterwards we hopped on the Axes and Ales firetruck towards downtown Raleigh for portraits. Finally we finished the evening with a catered dinner and creative portraits at the NC Museum of Art.
I connected with Whitney Masters through Instagram a while back and was instantly drawn by her beautifully tenacious vibe. We connected and made the decision to produce a bridal-inspired styled shoot and use it as a teaching opportunity at my workshop in Chicago, IL.
For this bridal shoot I bought the dress off of Amazon for $90 and purchased the flowers at a near-by grocery store for around $25. My hope is that brides and other photographers can realize that you don't have to "break the bank" to produce beautiful bridal portraits.
